if you convert your tracter over to an alt
either gm alts work fine , the standerd alt,you must either run a light or diode , as for the one wire alts we ( bobs motor repair ) have installed many of these on tracters, trucks ,and race cars and have never had any prob's with any discharge! my race car sits for the winter and never has had a dead bat in spring mike
