You're right Tim, the sicklebar won't cut it. It stays plugged up all the time.
I got in on the experiments years ago and have answered on the other board Karl.
Good luck, but I would turn the vetch under and go from there if the only use you have for it is hay.. If you let cattle graze it, it is a good high protein forage with good fiber, but it is poison to horses. If you turn it under as green manure it puts alot of N back into the soil.
