Thanks for the input, guys. The only reason I'm considering cutting the vetch for hay is that it's in a field which has a good stand of clover, lespedeiza, and orchard grass and I think I need to get it off the field so the other stuff can grow to be cut later. If I leave the vetch, I think I'll have a mess later when I try to cut. And I hate to plow down good hay that's already established. BTW, Anybody have any experience with soybean hay? We grew it when I was a kid, but I don't remember much about it
