I bought Renk again for '09. I was gonna switch but turned out the seed did much better than some others in the area. I didnt fertilize as heavy as I should have and my poulation was low. I ended with 91 bushels an acre, We harvested on october 25th and had an average test weight of 57.2 and 17.1% moisture. That was an 85 day RR. This year I am going to 92 and 95 day non RR but the 95 day is yeild gaurd corn borer. They are also a much higher yeilding corn and I am utilizing my chick poop. This is on drier sandy soils of central MN. Beans were terrible but it was a bad ear all around here for beans and I planted too low of population and picked the wrong variety for my soils. My fault.
