Why would anybody take the time,effort,risk or expense? To build a fire under a machine, use tarps/burners and burn high priced fuel to mostly heat the great outdoors with a little on the tractor. Or risk damaging the engine by manually spraying ether into the intake? Just get a cheap simple reliable coolant heater. Plug it in and use a few cents worth of electricity and she starts like summer time. No open flame, no tarps flapping in the wind. No broken piston rings. No extra strain and wear on the starter, battery,generator/alternator.
