I do get a yearly credit of $50 for putting a box on my A/C that will shut it off if demand is too great. They do have a program that you can get perferred rates if you chose a 12 hour period to get the preferred rate and 12 hours that you get a more expensive rate. So if you can schedule high electric use like clothes dryer, hair dryer etc off rate times you can save money. The weekends are at the reduced rate so you don't have to worry about scheduling your weekend. Just afraid my wife is a teacher so has off summers so she would probably cost me more...
