I forgot to say you need to wipe the cylinder with a clean rag once youve honed it to get the hone grit out,then you want to put oil on the inside of the sleeve and coat the inside with oil,whether or not you put it together right then.If you would happen to get side tracked you can just clean the old oil off and re oil it,but if you dont it will be rusty tomorrow.If you arent going to put it together quickly you can wipe grease on something like that to keep it from rusting.Anyway before you put it together it has to be clean and have oil on it.
