You have a much larger tractor than I had when I put in a 400 yd. drive back to my factory 20 yeas ago. I used a 23 HP Simplicity lawn tractor with a 4' loader and a 5' 3 point blade. I took off the top soil at what ever depth it took to get down to solid clay. This was 6" in some paces and over a foot in others. I went 20 feet wide and put the top soil at both sides as I moved forward. After the top soil was removed I hired a backhoe to put a tile down the center to drain moisture away from the soil below the drive. I had 12" of #2 lime stone hauled in and used my bucket and blade to level it out. I graded the top soil out from the stone to shed the ran. The next spring after I completed the drive I added 6" of lime stone millrun. I add some millrun each year. I have heavy loads coming and going every day and it takes very little upkeep.
