Hey Big Hunter, you say that you need every bit of pasture. What is your stocking rate? Grass grows best in the spring and your animals will love it.In fact most will eat the grass and leave the weeds to grow tall. I believe that it is an accepted fact that the best defense for weeds is healthy grass, and if it is given a chance to grow the grass will overcome the weeds on its own. You must also remember that most varieties of grass will grow much less slowly in hot dry weather.
