Hello Guys. I had a set of pistons and liners that I took out of a Farmall H about 6 years ago, the block and head were cracked when I bought the tractor,he had put new pistons and liners in, that engine had run less then two hours, this new engine I pulled the old liners, which did not come out easy, I took fine steel wool pads and cleaned the block and the outside of the liners that I want to put in, I then put the liners in the freezer over night, this morning I dropped the liners in the new block, 1 and 2 dropped right in, 3 had to be pushed down the last 2 inches, number 4 dropped in, 3 and 4 are ok, but 1 and 2 are loose, what did I do wrong ? is there anything I can do with 1 and 2 liners, please help, thank you. Ken.
