We have been going to north central MD the last few years because that is where my grandkids live. We pick them (granddaughters) up and we are off. The parents get a vacation from the kids and we get some alone time with the grandkids.
Last year we went to Gettysburg; Lancaster and Hershey PA. Very pretty country and we all had fun. This year my son has rented a cabin for us in eastern MD since it is my 25 anniversary. The wife and kids get some time in the outdoors and I get to go fishing in the Chesapeake bay. Do not know how much fun it will be but it does sound good.
You really need to tell us what you like to do for us to comment or recommend. Some love the crowds and big amusement parks while others like to get away in the country.
