Anyone here have any alpacas. We are looking to buy a couple of males to sheer each year. The females cost way to much to consider right now. I am going to put up a fence soon and was thinking about using metal T post and wood post. I have heard that they like to rub against the fence. Do the T post like you would buy at TSC or agir-supply hold up to this use. The aminals usually dont weigh more than 200 lbs. I think some of the T post are made cheaper and will bend. I will put the T post in a 2-3 run between the wood post. Any thoughts would be great. I will be using 2x4 horse wire 48 inches tall.
