I have just bought a Nuffield 4/60, that didn't work (hasn't run in 2 years until now) the Disel-pump(Simms Vac-controlled) was rebuild & the Head-valves "grinded" 2years ago.I have just had the injectors checked (one repaird). It wont start & run unless i keep the engine alive the first 5-10 sec with "start-spray". after that it runs but to much smoke comes out("choke" is ON), If i pull out the "choke"-button. it start to missfire and send flames in to the sky! Could it be poor Compression? Is the pump incorrect-adjusted (pumpshaft has 10 graded scale for adjustment). Please can anyone come with any suggestions, i'm tired of using that spray!
