Well, I don't know anything about your story - but I know one of the local big-shot neighbors was in the coffee shop blustering about how he had some irrigation engines "stolen". "right off the well!!", he said!!
He made it sound pretty believable and I was pretty worried - since I had 4 Minneapolis HD800's and a Caterpillar right over in that area...
But one of the neighbors who lived out there and farmed next to him was laughing about it - said he watched the machine shop who had overhauled them back a truck up to the irrigation wells and repossess them because they never got paid!!
That made way more sense - because the guy complaining was a very well known local shyster...
Anyway, my point is just things aren't always nearly like they sound from just half the story...
