I heard once where someone stole a 7520 John Deere 4X4 with duals right out of a field while the owner was in his house less than a mile away eating lunch. It was never found.
How the heck could they pull something like that off? With the duals, it would be way too wide a load to just drive or haul down the highway, and assuming it was loaded on a flatbed semi, it's kinda hard to just disappear with an outfit like that. As I recall, the State Patrol was alerted within minutes after the farmer finished lunch and went back out in the field.
