Why, tell me why must the world have so many "a"holes in it? My wife, parents and myself farm on lease to own, my grandfathers farm, mothers side of family. Mom has three brothers, she is the oldest. Moms brothers HATED the farm untill 2 yrs. ago when we started renting it. Grandpa is now 90, it was time to hand things over...When we started renting everyone (moms family) got real interested in the farm. Then they found out we are leasing to own. now they want farm chopped into 4 pieces, "because they want a peice of thier heritage"., unless it sells for well OVER development rates. Seems that enough money will buy them out of something they never wanted till now....We are paying above average rent, and will pay above average price for local farm ground when we finally purchase. Grandpa wants the farm to stay a farm, and knows we can do it. (we basically ran the farm for him last 5 - 9 yrs) This is just background info for my real gripe(s). Sunday, my cousin comes out to the farm, and without asking, no permition whatsever, starts target shooting 30/30 and 30/06 and various handguns. His target was plywood nailed to a fencepost. His backdrop was a small grove of hedge trees, about 45 yrds. away. He was shooting into the wind. PROBLEM(S) the grove of trees in the pasture is where our cows were pasturing, doing there own thing. I guess w/ the wind, the sound was carried away,and the noise didnt scare them. When i confronted, i was told what a M.F.'r is was, to leave him the "F" alone, and i didnt own the G.D. F'n farm and he could do what he wanted. Grandpa went out and ran him off, THANK GOD no cattle were hurt. Then monday, same cusin comes out and wants to dump wood chips from his tree trimming Buisness, and concrete chunks in my PASTURE!! I didnt let him in the driveway, and said not to come back, or the law would be called. Whats next??? I feel better now, some people i tellya. Sorry so long.....
