that has gears on it so I can remove a nut that is torqued onto the end of the shaft. What kind of tool is there to hold the shaft (a couple of the shafts I can't get to so I would have to hold the gear). If the gears are meshed up with another set of gears I could stick a piece of wood or thick rubber inbetween the gears to lock them up to get the nut off, but what if there aren't any other gears that mesh. And then the issue of putting it back together (putting new gears in) and don't want to chip, break, whatever the new gears. Thanks for any help.
