I have been working on my little riding mower over the last few days. Tried 3 mags on it then tried another spark plug and it fired right up. Did some little things like bolt it down to the frame and put a shroud on it, but now i have this problem to work with. It was running and making this horrible grinding noise so i looked undernieth it. This is what im up against right now. That pulley runs to the transmission, and it spins freely down there. The hole in the shaft is threaded, but the threads are missing about 1/8 inch in, then they start. I cant get a bolt in there. I also cant weld. Any ideas?? It has a key to hold it in place but that slips out without a bolt and a washer in there. And the pulley needs to be up that high ( cant be lower) for the belt not to hit anything. Thanks guys
