WHY are the DEERE batterys failing... is there a slow power drain (through damp grass, dirt and debris around electrical parts), which is common, and after running dead during periods of non-use so many times the batterys fail?
I pull a cable off of the battery on stuff that sits around unused for a while, and it REALLY makes a difference in battery life. That would be something to try, as well as cleaning things up a bit.
