I personally like places that have four distinct seasons which you surely have with fall foliage like that. Having said that, I wouldn't wish a Wisconsin winter on my worst enemy unless they wanted it. Mr Bob in eastern Ohio wouldn't come within 500 miles of my place in winter. I still like it and most of us do quite well with it. My folks lived well up into their late nineties and right now I have two aunt Margarets, one is 95 and the other 98. So the cold isn't all bad. I've been to all of the 48 lower states and Hawaii and always prefer those with four seasons. I met a fellow in Arizona who moved from Ill and took over the operation of the Gila Bend airport. After about 20 years there, he moved back to Ill. He said, "I've had my fill of this g-- d------ desert".
