Ya know.....It's not just the Fords that are going to crap...I had Fords years ago , had problems..Switched to Chevy's..The '79 and '87 were great..Got a brain fart and got a '97 Dodge Ram....Sheeesh what an experience...Went back to Chevy in '05 , had OK results till it got out of warranty..Now things that you wouldn't ever expect to break are breaking...It appears like they're making them cheap enough to just get by with.. and nothing more...Next one will probably be a Toyota , I'm afraid...Wifes Avalon has been super, with very few problems.. My '79 Blazer never went back for warranty.. The '87 Silverado went back twice..The Ram went back 15 or 16 times[ twice on a hook ]..And the '05 Silverado about 5 times for actual, no BS problems..Maybe it's time to finish the '49 Power Wagon in my barn and drive it....
