First off I know this isn't tractor related but I want to here everyones thoughts. My mom drives a 2006 Ford Freestar with 50,200 miles. She was hearing a noise from the transmission, so she took it to the dealer. Come to find out she needs a whole new transmission! So I come home and get on good ol' google to see if this is a common problem, and it seems like everybody and their brother who has an '04 or newer freestar is having the same problem. My family has been a Blue-Oval family for years but I dont get how you could build that crappy of a transmission. I mean she drives a freakin' mini-van, its not like she haulin' big loads everyday. So anyway for $2400 she can get a rebuilt tranny with a 3yr/75,000 warranty. Seems like a big problem to me. Lets hear your thought
