When driving to work Friday morning, listening to RFD Illinois they were talking about a proposed law in California. ALL farm diesel engines were going to have to be replaced with 2007 or newer diesel engines because of polution controls. Is this correct? They were saying that some farmers had already switched engines 1 or 2 times and they thought this would put many out of business. If true, I would think this would kill the used machinery market. Who could afford to replace all the engines in all of their tractors, combines, sprayers, etc. Bad thing is, if they do this, it always works its way east and we will eventually have the same thing. Guess they are trying to kill off they small farmer. Please tell me I heard it wrong. Chris
