On the same sort of topic: All HGVs, and probably smaller (or soon will be), commercial vehicles entering the Greater London area must now be compliant with new lower, more stringent emisssions. That has, at a stroke, cut out the entry to London of most vehicles older than 6 years. I know a fellow who knew it was coming and has sold his transport business because of it. There will be a high cost to this change and, I would think, an incease in haulage charges into and out of London because of these new regs. Good idea for those who live there, I suppose, with a little less pollution.
