I read an for sale ad 1965 international 1700 with a 345 v8 (gas) engine. It lists the GVW as being under that of the CDL requirements. Would that mean it does not have air brakes? I was under the impression air brakes required the air brake endorsement which was part of the CDL.
My interest is in possibly picking this or similar size dump for gravel and wood chip hauling. What would be a safe estimate on MPG 5? It has a 5 year dump 2 speed rear manual transmission.
