I had an electrician friend over to do some work for me, I had just returned from town after filling my truck full of diesel and the big tank in the back with gasoline, and I was on a rant! Jess is retired and has been on some huge jobs in Alaska and over seas, so he has been around. When I finished my rant, I said that you would think our gov. would get a handle on this. Jess picked up a small piece of wire and held it for an illustration and replied,"This wire has raised in price 300% in the past year, whether it was copper, or petrolium for the insulation or maybe freight, but their is a reason for the increase. Do you know what else has gone up 300%.......the taxes and their is not a penny of investment in them!" after thinking over his statement it sure put it in perspective for me. sorry for the length, just thought it needed told.
