What kind of a code reader are you using? The F-350 diesels are only sort of OBD-II compliant, and there are a bunch of codes that a standard OBD-II reader won"t pick up. Some of the programmers (hypertech, ect.) can read the non-standard codes, and the autoingenuity software will read them. If you can"t find someone with one of these, you"re stuck going to a dealer and paying through the nose for five minutes of computer time.
I"ve been looking for a used programmer that"ll read the unique codes (I have a 99), mostly because I"m too cheap to cough up the $400 for the autoingenuity software, but so far haven"t had any luck. Keith
