Allan, you by any chance know what the operating pressure is and what would be the max.
Friend has a Farmall SM with Charlin steering and belt drive power steering pump. The pump that was on tractor when he bought it quit so he installed new pump, now steering is irratic(spelling) and hard to steer. steering wheel jerks and jumps when turning. Also some times it is really difficult to turn wheel if you can turn it at all.
I seem to feel that the new pump is putting out way to much pessure.Thanks
