Does not run well and hard to start. Seems it is flooding out. Figured I would take a chance on it. Took the carb off and found that someone has had it off in the past because I could not find part #6 which is labled ELEMENT, PUMP in the parts diagram.
So a carb rebuild is in order to start with. The question I have is... There is a part mounted between the carb and the engine block called a REED and a STOP REED. These parts are showing as NLA.
What function does this reed do.
Really want to do what ever it takes to get this running right but on the other hand do not want to take apart parts I may not be able to get anymore.
