I`ve got a Chevy 1 ton with a 12 ft. midwest bed . The rearend is geared high which is fine out on the road but granny gear is even to fast out in the hay field and other offroad jobs , up and down hills , haulin wood and post . Is there a 2 speed gear box that could be used to slow it down . I`m thinking about somthing that would mount inplace of the carrier bearing . Would`nt need to be able to shift on the move like with a 2 speed rearend . Binlaw put a 4 wheel drive transfer case in one to get a low range but I realy dont want to go that direction and dont want to change rearends . Whats out there ?
