Look around at some of the truck junk yards and see if you can find an old twin stick truck. They have an aux. tranny in them and ya it would be more gears then you want but would work well. Plus most of them had 4th as an over drive and 3rd 1 to 1 and then you would also have the 2 lower gears to play with also. 16 speeds can come in handy at times.
