There are a few low places around that scalded down after the heavy rain and hot weather a couple weeks ago. For the most part it looks to be a bumper crop. Mine is quite good. All tobacco here is burley. I also only raise it two years and then sow it down and come back in 3 to 5 years. I use to have trouble with Black shank when I raised straight KY 10. I have raised Tenn 86 for the last 10 or 12 years and it holds up better against BS and blue mold. Aphids also seem to bother it less. Not too bad for suckers either, and weighs good. I think this will be my last crop, but I say that every year about this time. Just can't help myself when plowing time comes. I am on the Clark and Montgomery county line between Winchester and Mt Sterling. Where are you and how is the crop there.
