Injector pump timing

On these old german diesel engines (like my 756) I always thought the timing marks on the injector pump hid behind a plug with an O-ring under the sticker that's held by two little bolts. But now on this IH 826 Hydrostat the injector pump doesn't seem to have a plug, it looks like some pressed-in cap that I don't have the foggiest idea how to get out. Did they put the injector pump timing marks somewhere else? Thanks
