The First time you rocked it the engine was lightly stuck. You were lucklily able to free it up. Shouldn't need to do this after just running the engine. The second time there was a fault of some sort in the electrical system. Check to see if your battery is getting a charge. Is the timing a little fast and firing before TDC. This can be caused by a sticking ignition advance. First thing I would look for is a connection heating in the starting circuit. This will indicate a poor connection and is most likely your problem. jt
