I ran a 430 for a guy many, many moons ago. Nice little tractor. Sounds like you got along prety good with only 2 minor inconviences. BUT, If you took your fertilizer $$ and put it on a new JD, or MF you could have set in a nice comfy cab with air and heat and stereo radio and tape deck and built in cooler and wouldn't have had to set out in the nasty, dirty air and risk getting skin cancer from being out in the sun. Wouldn't have to risk hearing loss from the loud tractor noise. It would have been just like setting in the house. Nope, I think you did it right the first time. Enjoy your 430. Chris
