If you can get it apart, slide bar of steel slightly smaller than the I.D. of the undented area of the tube into it. The end of the bar needs to be tapered to allow it to wedge into the dent. Then carefully peen the part of dented area that is supported by the bar. This should lift the dent a little at a time. As you peen drive the bar in deeper, don't drive hard, you are just using it for an anvil. Keep peening a little at a time & you should be able to lift the dent. I have used this method to remove dents in shotgun barrels in my gunsmithing days.
