Hurst, I think if you can get anything over $2,000 with your very honest assessment of their condition...you'd better grab it. Here in Greenup County, KY. most of the tobacco farmers quit and if the cultivating tractors aren't collecting dust...they went to the sales. I bought 3 Farmall's last spring...a Cub and two Super A's....one SA had a mower on it, the other two had cultivators and side dresser. These were all nice machines....well cared for, good rubber, 2 had been repainted. I gave $1000 for the Cub, $1500 for the SA with side dresser/cultivators and $2100 for the SA with belly mower. I wouldn't turn my hand one way or the other for a 140 or a SA...whichever was in better condition would be the determining factor. I hope you get all you can.
