I assume that SC is South Carolina. I just got finished reading a book, actually the 5th book by the same author, a guy by the name of Pat Conroy? Ever heard of him? He wrote The Great Santini, Beach Music, etc. Anyways, all of his stories seem to be based in the Carolinas (and usually revolve around mean fathers and often military families). Sounds like a beautiful place, I'd like to visit there sometime. Most of his stories are on the oceanfront towns and also on the little islands that must be in abundance there.
