What model PC is it? What happened that triggered the initial problem?? The screen refresh rate being set too high on the video card can cause that symptom - but usually on older monitors. How old is the PC? Did the monitor come with it? You might try booting into VGA mode by tapping the F8 key at bootup. If it is fine there - then you probably have a bad or incorrectly set video driver or the refresh rate is too high. If you still have trouble there, your monitor may be going bad. Swapping with another monitor as a test is also a good idea. Howard
