So I'm a plumber and you're a lawyer. At least we know what each other does for a living. Meanwhile, I said that I am "the" system administrator, not "a" system administrator. So you'll have to put that in your plumbers pipe and smoke it, at least have a pull on it. Anyways, I think I might try to do some of this stuff, if the computer blows up .... so what? And for the IRS coming around, I seriously doubt that they even have his name in a file since he hasn't filed a tax return in 30 years.
