I tried that usualy is something rubbing , if you lub balls in ratchet they will stick and not re-wind I also Cause not to ingauge tried that had to take apart and clean oil out would just ust some lub-a-plate on shaft . I did this after changing 5500 watt power unit to Electric start but retained manuel start for Emergency start in case battery is down .
