Sunny: This is not about plowing ability or quality. I've seen guys push snow 15' high as one of the guys mentioned. This really about how old your neck and upper body are. Pushing snow rearward or rear snowblowers for that matter work well into your mid forties, becomes a bit more difficult in your fifties and down right impossible at 65. At least that is what I've witnessed with my younger brother. He's 63 and had a rear blade on his farmall 230 for eons. I notice he is now pondering how to put that blade out front. Take myself, never had a rear blade, but have done many hours of work with rear mounted or trailing implements. They weren't hard to watch years ago. If I were going to spend all day plowing now, I'd need remote TV to watch the plow. Saw one of those on a tractor back years ago when semi-mount plows were new. I thought, how ridiculous, I don't think that anymore.
