There used to be an ISO 5011 test of several air filters designed for the Duramax diesel engine in the tool section (type in K N filter and scroll). The last time I looked, it didn't seem to be there. Anyway, the K & N passed about 44 times more dirt than the AC Delco and only flowed about 1% better. The K & N also plugged up in half the time. Other brands of filters had results in between.
