My assumption is that you have the typical 5 speed stick out of the hump of a ford 150. I don't know much about them numbers. Anyway try this trick and if it don't work you are only out a few bucks. Use pipe inslation (split tube type) to cover the shifter between he boot and knob. doesn't do one thing but keep the noise below the floorboard.
