Little off topic, but still machinery. I have an old 89' F-150 with the 302 fi engine. The oil pressure is all over mostly low and midrange. I've cleaned the connections at the sender and it helps ..maybe. I'm sure I have ok pressure as no lifters clatter and the engine sounds good. Question is anybody know what size pipe thread the sending unit is? I've always had GM and said I would never have a Ford.. now I have 2. I plan on putting an honest to gosh manual pressure guage in this truck as I'm not real trusting of electronic guages especially in an 18 year old truck. Thanks
