Well I was quoting from First edition copyright 1943 and does not say when printed. My fouth edition
does say the numbers you quote. Text say draw the nuts and bolts down evenly, repeating the operation until normally tight. After the engine has been run long enoughto warm it up a final tightening should be made with a torque wrench. I don't know which #s are correct.
