My first edition covers 1936-42 and is format is quite different from the 1951 book. for instance the Schacht in the first edition list the Continental engine on page 32 and the Hercules engine on page 99. Bork and back clutch on page 704. Transmissions on page 717 and so on. So if multiple makes used the Hercules engine you go to the Hercules engine section and get info. The 1951 book lists Diamond T and your Hercules info is there. I like the earlier book better but the later book has info the earlier book does not have regarding model # of trucks. You really should have both don't you think??
