First things first. This is a 4T65E trans, fully electronic. GM has had tons of calibration issues with the computers. If you have a good dealership in the area, take it in and explain the problem. Chances are very good that they can reflash(update) the computer. This will load a new set of parameters. Gm has had alot of trouble with low load chugging, so they reprogram the computer to not call for lock-up so early. I would bet this will take care of your problem for under $100.
