Why do you think it is a closed center valve. Did you plumb the valve by connecting it to the external hydraulics of the tractor, and then tying the valve open to keep the fluid going thru the new valve. If its a closed center, the tractor valve will try to kick off when on the loader, both valves are in neutral. Also your loader valve may have a float position and if you pull the valve to that position nothing will happen except the bucket will slowly dump if the bucket is hooked to the float capable lever. Where does the return line for the loader valve hook up on the tractor?
