Sold my 77 cj-5 in 95 to have extra cash when I bought my 1st home. That ol girl would lift the front right off the ground in all 3 gears. Very high torque 1970 304 in it. Ended up not even needing the extra cash cause I got a $5/hour raise at work prior to buying. My ma and pa sold my moms "57 chevy 4 dr, always garaged less than 20,000 miles for ...........$300 in 78 or 79. Money was tight, house payment was needed. Oh well, I did see it sitting in Elk River about 18 years ago for sale for $15,000. I sure wonder who has it now and what it is worth today.
